Sergeant John Payne McCormick RAFVR, known as “Jackie”, was aged 20
and the son of Samuel and Sarah McCormick of Belfast, Northern
Ireland. Sergeant Kay and his crew were posted to 514 squadron (B)
on the 4th February 1944. All are buried in Durnbach War
