on the night February 7/8 1945.
The aircraft left
Skellingthorpe
at 2059hrs. It was last heard from after setting course for
the Dortmund-Emms Kanal and failed to return. Five of the seven
crewmembers were killed including
Sergeant Stanley Hoggett.

Sergeant
Stanley Hoggett was the son of George and Hannah Hogget and
husband of Eliza Rebecca of Sherburn, Co. Durham.
The members of the crew who died rest in Reichswald Forest war
cemetery.
