The
Harding crew departed Dunholme Lodge at 2140hrs on August 17/18,
1943 aboard Lancaster Mk.III DV202, coded KM-Z, for an operation
to bomb the experimental rocket site at Peenemunde.
The entire crew was lost
without a trace and are commemorated on the Runnymede memorial.
