Sergeant Kenneth Evans - RAFVR

 
Sergeant Kenneth Evans  was serving as Flight Engineer on board Lancaster Mk. II DS-740 coded QO-Z during an operation to Braunschweig on January 14/15 1944. The aircraft failed to return from this operation and all hands onboard were lost when it crashed 6km from Northeim. 

The crew were initially buried at Lagerhausen but were later re-interred at Hanover War Cemetery.

 Sergeant Kenneth Edgar Evans was only 19 years old at the time of his death, he was from Romford, Essex and the son of Lilian and Edward Evans.
