Halifax III MZ514 SE-P left Croft with First Leiutenant Boyle USAAF at the controls at 2229hrs on April 22/23 for an op to Dusseldorf. The aircraft crashed at Veen and was the first Halifax III to be reported as missing from 431 squadron.
